Athletics Leinster are hosting an Introductory Course for T&F Officials over the coming weeks. This course is aimed at those interested in acting as officials in the future, or who may be new to the role. 
 
The format of the course is 2 x 2hr online sessions from 7:00pm to 9:00pm on Tuesday 17th May and Tuesday 19th May.
 
These will be followed by a practical demonstration at one of the upcoming Leinster Championships i.e.
Leinster Junior, Senior & Masters Day 1 28th May, Carlow
Leinster Junior, Senior & Masters Day 2 29th May, Carlow
Leinster Combined Events, 11th June, Kilkenny
Leinster Relays, 12th June, Le Cheile, Leixlip
Leinster U14 - U19 Championships Day 1, 18th June, Tullamore
Leinster U14 - U19 Championships Day 2, 19th June, Tullamore
 
This aims to give as much flexibility as possible to taking part in the practical demonstration. 
 
The course is free of charge, but advance booking is essential.

The first meeting in this year's Dublin Graded Track and Field Series is on Wednesday 27th April at Tallaght Stadium and every second Wednesday thereafter. The Series will include all the usual T&F Dublin Championships events on the dates as shown in the programme. Medals will be presented to the first three home in the Grade A event. Athletics Leinster would like to thank Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club for hosting the Leinster 10 Mile inside their own 2022 Battle of Clontarf 10 Mile.

 

The 10 mile race now in its seventh year takes place on Easter Monday April 18th, over a 10 mile course inside the scenic and historic St. Anne’s Park.

Having first been held as part of the Brian Boru celebrations, Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club have continued to promote the ever popular event, which also restored the Leinster 10 Mile road race championship.

Raheny Shamrock Athletic Club are proud to partner with Leinster Athletics with the Leinster championship medals on the line in St. Anne’s Park.

Race starts at 11am on the main avenue in St. Anne’s Park.
